We file, chase and clear permits across every UK shooting region, London, the Home Counties, the South Coast, the Cotswolds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, the Lakes, Edinburgh and the Highlands.

Top-sheets, stripboards, day-out-of-days, cost reports. Built in Movie Magic or Hot Budget, sized for the brief, TVCs, music videos, branded content, drama, features. PAYE / Schedule D handled by our UK production accountants.

BECTU-rate crews from our standing rosters, producers, 1st ADs, DPs, gaffers, key grips, sound mixers, art directors, hair, makeup, costume, SPFX, stunts, locations, runners. Day-rate transparency and call-sheet discipline.

Cityscapes, period interiors, country houses, warehouses, deserts (yes, in the UK), coastlines, studios, stages. Recces, options, fees, neighbour letters and on-the-day stewarding.

Visas, Customs & ATA Carnets
UK Creative Worker sponsorship for incoming cast and crew, biometrics support, ATA Carnets for camera, lighting and grip moving in and out of the UK, customs clearance at Heathrow, Stansted and the Channel.

Production, employer's liability, public liability, equipment and cast cover via UK brokers. Risk assessments, method statements, child licences, SAG / Equity paperwork and HMRC compliance, handled in-house.

What is UK line production?
Line production is the physical-production layer that turns a script and budget into a shoot day, permits, crew, locations, equipment, logistics, insurance and accounting. HC Films runs full UK line production from London for productions of every scale.
Where in the UK do you line produce?
Everywhere. London and the Home Counties most weeks, but regularly across Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, the Lakes, the Cotswolds, the South Coast, Edinburgh and the Highlands. We carry standing crew and vendor lists in every major UK region.
Do you line produce for Indian, Bollywood and overseas productions?
Yes, that is the bulk of our incoming work. UK Creative Worker visas, ATA Carnets, INR or GBP billing, India-friendly working hours and a single point of contact through the shoot.
Can you handle the whole job, or just the line?
Both. We can sit under your producer as a pure line, or we can take the project end-to-end through prep, shoot, post and delivery.
