HC Films is a UK film production house founded by British producer and director Hassan Choudhury. A British production house with a UK base and active desks across India, Dubai and Bangladesh. We were built on a simple belief: cinema deserves a studio that can match its scale, its colour, and its risk, wherever in the world it lives. From Bollywood line production on UK soil to full co-production on Bengali, Punjabi and English-language features, HC Films is the bridge between South Asian cinema and British craft.
We produce features, music videos, commercial campaigns and full-service line production. Most of our clients are based in India, and we travel there often for meetings, recces and shoots , while running UK schedules across all four nations for the same clients, and now extending into Dubai and Bangladesh.
Credits across the slate include Mastiii 4, Devi Chowdhurani and Hey Siri Ve Siri, with Mr & Mrs Grey, Haan Yahi Pyar Hain and 90 Feet from Home in the pipeline.

Hassan Choudhury
Born 23 November in Zakiganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh, Hassan was raised between Torremolinos on Spain's Costa del Sol, Peterborough and Birmingham, a Bengali–Spanish–British childhood that gave him three languages, three cultures, and an instinct for moving between worlds long before a camera ever rolled.
He studied Business Management at South & City College, Birmingham and then Accounting at the University of Wolverhampton, the financial spine that now keeps Bollywood and Bengali features both ambitious and solvent on UK soil. Today he works between the UK and the Indian subcontinent, with active production desks in Dubai and Bangladesh, and founded HC Films to give South Asian cinema a UK-based partner that could match it for ambition.
Recent credits include line producing and 1st AD work on Mr & Mrs Grey, Haan Yahi Pyar Hain and 90 Feet from Home, with released features Mastiii 4, Devi Chowdhurani and Hey Siri Ve Siri on the slate. He also mentors emerging filmmakers through HC Films' annual pitch programme, scholarships and internships.
